I started crocheting after I became unemployed from my dream job. I am self-taught and working with yarn brought me back to life. Watching people delight in the items I was making gave me back a sense of purpose. 
I took another office job, dabbled in the 'traditional' workforce for a few years, had babies, and then realized that Yarn & Clay was once again rearing its head telling me that I could enjoy life with my kiddos AND yarn and clay.
A business was born out of a hobby and I am so grateful for all the supporters but mostly my kids who are no strangers to chaos with yarn and my husband for always picking up the forgotten ends scattered on the floor.
